Here is the current range of digital notetakers from Olympus. This style of recorder is most suited to recording an event like a meeting, lecture, conference, focus group etc.

All recorders are:

DM Series Recorders - DM-901 & DM-7

LS Series Recorders - LS-12 & LS-14

WS Series Recorders - WS-831 / WS -832 / WS-833

Don't be put off that these recorders are fairly cheap in comparison to the DM and LS models. These little recorders still pack a punch in the digital voice recording world. Cheap does not mean nasty, the WS series recorders are perfect for students, journalists and those that record small meetings, interviews and lectures.
